Alert is a soft Cover 2, the Safety stays over top of #1 and Corner stays over #2 unless they cross before 10 yards. OLB walls #2 receiver if he comes in. Clue is a man coverage between the Safety and the corner. They read the release of #2, if he goes out the Corner will pick him up and the Safety will take #1 coming in. Otherwise, the Corner is on #1 and the Safety is on #2. The OLB has any back out of the backfield. There is a video on Quarters coverage with all of the checks, here

Only the Run Defense & Linebacker Drills, I'm planning on writing a review of it soon for subscribers. The linebacker drills and techniques were great and from what I got of the scheme it is sounds and relatively simple. The organization of the DVD series is different, seems like you really need all 3 videos to get the entire scheme. Other series I have seen describe the entire front in every DVD, so that you only get about half as much from each one.

Reads are about the same as the 4-2-5, really not much changes for an inside Linebacker

What do i need to do as an inside linebacker? Coverage and run rise? Is it easier to read than the 3-4 defense?

What do I need to know and perform as an inside linebacker? Coverage and run wise? Is it more difficult to read than the 3-4 i ran last year?

this is out of a 4-2-5 defense i would have your defensive tackle attack the dive and stop that, then the defensive end force the qb to option to his pitch man and have the strong safety take the pitch man
