I have been studying the R4 system for a while now and finaly feel comfortable enough to use it to install offense.
Question
1. When the QB sees his rythm route has been completely collisioned at the line of scrimmage and he knows to accelerate to the read route, where do you want your QB eyes to be?
…….still on the rythm until it is time to hich up or
…….to the read reveiver to determine if it will be capped or uncapped
…….or somewhere else

You have to be careful about over-coaching this thing. R4 should relax him, not make his butthole tight about where his eyes should be every 1/10th of a second.

If the rhythm route doesn't get a free release, he's off it. Just the peak to see is enough, now he's on to the read. The last thing you want him to do is be late on an otherwise open read route because he was trying to stare at the rhythm getting jammed for too long.

Thanks Coach. That is what I had hoped to hear.
