Over the past few months I have been blessed to see Football-Defense.com grow by leaps and bounds. Honestly, after spending all of 2009 and 2010 seeing only moderate increases in popularity and income, 2011 has been quite a nice surprise.
The other side of that coin is that my e-mail has increased. I love it, I love that people think I know what I am talking about. And I am hoping that by starting this Mailbag post on a regular basis, I will accomplish a few things.
- You will get to see the thought process of a lot of other, very intelligent and probably more successful coaches than myself.
- I will get to answer some of the questions that I get more often for a once, and possibly final time. At least to be able to refer future question askers to a certain post.
- My long, rambling responses will be seen, and possibly seen as helpful, to more than one coach. And more than one coach may respond to those questions, so that the inquiring coach gets at least one good response.
- The advice and opinions I currently offer to coaches over a private forum can now be openly criticized and ripped to shreds in a more public manner.
